[Season 1] (Takes place shortly after Season 2, with flashbacks from Season 1.) What would you do if you were torn between finding out not only your parents, but all of your friends' parents were apart of an organization of evil deeds that tied into the disappearance of your sister? What would you do if you had to break up with the guy that's been there for you since the beginning because he believed he was doing the right thing to protect you? What would you do? In Season 1 of this retelling of the hit Marvel show, Nico Minoru will go through hell and back again to uncover more dark secrets while also dealing with her quickly blossoming feelings for Karolina Dean, the most mysterious member of the Runaways and come to terms with a very difficult decision - will she risk it all to get answers for her sister and lose the one person that truly understands, or lose her final chance in revealing the horrific secrets of the Minoru and Wiccan elements to be with the one she truly loves? In 8 episodes, journey back into the world of the runaways through a familiar pair of eyes as a story of romance, action and drama will unfold and culminate into a unique love story not like any other.

Nico Minoru, Gert Yorkes, Molly Hayes and Alex Wilder were best friends. They were those kids who no one knows about their existence. Karolina Dean was the most popular girl in Atlas Academy. She was dating the captain of the lacrosse team, Chase Stein and her best friend was Eiffel Campbell, just another rich girl. Nico had a crush on Karolina, but the blonde have never really talked to her. They were in the senior year, and 2 months before their graduation they were going to camp with the other seniors. Luckily for Nico, she was in the same tent as Karolina, and that was her chance to get to know her crush better.
