"Do you remember when we got married, Tommy? Do you! We vowed to protect each other!" The girl yells, staring at her husband with fire in her eyes.
"Every second of every day, I thought of you. You are the only reason I continued to fight in that bloody war. And you know what, El..... I'm still fighting to protect you, to protect the family! He responded, walking towards Eloise.
"Tommy, Lucy, and I will be fine, trust me. I just want you to be safe....I can't lose you." She says a tear falls down her pale cheek.
He cups her cheeks, and he looks down at her. The same crystal blue eyes she fell in love with.
"I love you too, Tommy."
Without saying a word, he kisses Eloise and then walks out the door.
Lord, watch over Tommy Shelby

In the winter of 1910, Eloise Buckley became Eloise Shelby, and she married the love of her life, Tommy Shelby. The beautiful gypsy girl fell in love with Tommy the minute she saw those mesmerizing blue eyes. Tommy fell madly in love as soon as he laid eyes on the blue-eyed girl riding on a white stallion. They got married on December 21, 1910, and then started their own family in 1914, when their daughter Lucy was born. When Eloise found out that Tommy had to go serve in the war, it tore her apart, as she didn't want to lose him. But he promised he'll come home alive and safe.
It's now 1919, and the war is over. Eloise has been home taking care of her nieces and nephews, Finn, and her 3 year old daughter Lucy, with Polly and Ada by her side. Lucy was not even a year old when Tommy went to France, and she only knows him from stories Eloise tells her.
Now, the Shelby boys are coming home, and Eloise couldn't be more happy to finally have her husband by her side again. Now, Tommy goes back to being the leader of the Peaky Blinders, with a hesitant Eloise by his side. But what happens when they realize that the war changed both of them?
