The Ranovian Republic, a nation closely allied with the New United States is in chaos. Residents of Eden-227 started protesting April of 2052, and companies have been deployed to quell riots, such as Extec PMC, UMG, and Calior SSC. Cities have deployed riot and SWAT teams to assist in any way they can. One day prior to Eden's collapse, Foxtrot, Gamma, and Alpha team of the CMD SWAT are deployed to investigate a bomb threat. Before they can do anything, everything goes sideways.

Three poems about a place oddly near to my heart.

A not so lore-accurate fanfiction for the game Decaying Winter by Archeximus. Follows the story of Agent Aurum as their team strives to survive the bitter wasteland of Eden-227. The writing for this work is gonna be pretty bad since it's my stress-relief writing project. I'd suggest having a fair knowledge of DW/DW lore to understand this fic since it's more of a crack story with occasional emotional moments made to mess around with silly ideas in my head. I will post occasional comic pages based on this story's stuff because I can draw. All art used is mine unless states otherwise. Feel free to skip this next part before reading the actual story, I don't really care. (Somewhat important) Characters: Agent Aurum: He/She/They. Transgender (FtM) and bisexual. Uses Berserker, Dan Janiel No.4, and primarily a sledgehammer. Aged 28 and is 6'9. Tall person yes yes. Agent Ajax: He/Him. Cisgender and also bisexual. Uses artillerist and Koldera Black. A weapon of choice is any gun that doesn't have too much recoil. Aged 28 and 5'10. Agent Vern: She/Her. Transgender (MtF) and straight. Uses Mindflayer, and Throwing Knives, and her weapon of choice is a lameo-blade. Aged 29 and 6'1. Agent Gunpowder: He/Him. Transgender (FtM) and straight. Uses Blitzer, Collapsible Ladder, and his weapon of choice is any sort of bomb or explosive. Aged 24 and 6'4. Agent Platinum: They/Them. Agender and AroAce. Uses Crosslink, Tear Gas, and their weapon of choice is a Bilhook. Aged 21 and 5'10. Ezra: He/They. Transgender (FtM). A sledgehammer scavenger working for Yosef. His loyalty isn't exactly the strongest, but he values his life.
