The Loser's Dream
Logline: Over 365 days, a man finally sits with everything he's spent his life feeling and avoiding - anxiety, romance, fear, sadness, and every shade between - and finds that the self he shows the world and the self he carries inside have been living two different lives.
Synopsis: Every day starts the same way: he wakes up into two worlds at once. The outer one is easy to describe - a guy getting through the day, saying what people say, doing what needs doing, looking to anyone watching like he's got it handled. The inner one is harder to explain, even to himself. Some days it's anxiety, arriving before his eyes are even open. Some days it's romance, hoping too hard and hiding it badly. Some days it's a fear with no name attached, or a sadness that never asks permission. Across 365 days, nearly one for every feeling he's never let himself sit with, the distance between who he is out there and who he is in here starts to close - not because he solves anything, but because he finally stops keeping the two apart.
