Historias de Delirium

A crossover event unlike any you've seen before, and a love letter to both Alan Moore's Watchmen and Neil Gaiman's Sandman. Someone is murdering time travelers and speedsters in the DC multiverse, and hardly anyone has noticed. Meanwhile, one of the Endless has gone mad, affecting reality in a myriad of unsavory ways. All of spacetime begins to unravel. The only chrono-kinetics left alive in the entire DC multiverse must find a missing hero from the Marvel's Earth-616... somehow. When all seems lost, an unexpected and powerful ally reveals they've been trying to help all along. I know the broad strokes of the plot, and many of the characters I'll be using, but I'm going to try to let the characters go wherever feels right from scene to scene. In other words, I use my improv training when I write, so this is going to be a wild ride :-D I've deliberately left out some more well-known characters, partly because they're too powerful and partly as a personal challenge. Notes: This story presents an alternate ending for Doctor Manhattan, because I just didn't get what the writers of Doomsday Clock were thinking. These events begin right after the events of The Button. You don't have to read The Button first, but the story might be a little more fun for you if you do. *The Linear Ones* isn't compatible with the ending of Doomsday Clock, because it requires Doctor Manhattan to still be alive. The easiest way for that to happen is to move a version of Kal-El from one universe to another, then raise and/or train him personally. While it's true that everything ends, every ending contains with itself the seeds of a new beginning. *The Linear Ones* contains spoilers for the following comics: The Sandman (75-issue run by Neil Gaiman), Watchmen, Crisis on Infinite Earths, Zero Hour, Marvel vs DC, Infinite Crisis, Final Crisis, Time Masters: Vanishing Point, Flashpoint Paradox, DC Universe: Rebirth, The Button, and Doomsday Clock. My name's Lena.. And this is my story. I use to live in Portland. A dystopian society where love is a disease. My mother died years ago from a heartbreak I believe. When my father passed, it wasn't long 'till she went too. After I basically had no one left I was left to live with my Aunt Carol, and I was all about keeping away from catching the infection. Carol would help me go over the lines and perfect answers I would need in order to get a good score on my evaluation to determine what career I would go into and who I would be marrying. But everything changed the day I was evaluated when a herd of cows interrupted my evaluation and I looked up to see a boy.. with Auburn hair and a white smile-- he winked at me and left;I saw him all the time after that happened it seemed...In the streets when I walked, or when I ran into him when Hana (my best friend) and I went into a No trespassing zone and he was the guard who caught us.. He let us go though, and he had denied the fact that I had saw him! But he hinted that he wanted me to meet him that night, that was the first time that I had 'rebelled' and went out past curfews. (if you were not cured from Amor Deliria Nervosa A.K.A Love, you had a curfew and to be cured meant you had a 3 pronged mark on your neck from the medical procedure that prevented you from feeling the emotion, the procedure couldn't be done on minors.) I accidentally stood him up though. I got there too late, and the next time I saw him was when I went to a illegal party that I never really wanted to go to. This is really when my world exploded. He asked me if we could meet the next day and I answered Yes. That was all before how it is now, now I live in the Wilds (where people who do not want to be cured called invalids or uncureds, scavengers live there too but scavengers want to end the world and invalids just want to live free)and I'm in a love triangle with Julian and Alex but I think it's finally over and I want to be with Alex..

Has Anyone committed mistakes in life ? of course everyone has at some point of time. some make mistakes daily(like me; naïve af). some make less mistakes, some more. But, everyone does commit Mistakes because "to err is Human". RM Once said "These faults and mistakes make up the brightest stars in the constellation of my life." I agree with him but my perspective towards mistake is same as of a coffee. i pursue Mistakes as if it's coffee (ahh caffeinator). Sometimes our coffee is strong and it's impact is long lasting, similar to a blunder we might have done a long ago. sometimes it's diluted and not that strong and waives off after sometime just like a small mistake (breaking saucers; According to my mom) we do and we forget and move on in life. Coffee sometimes is bitter and we need some sugar to neutralize the bittery flavour similar to some mistakes we do which scar our life and mind for which we get sugary support from our loved ones. sometimes it's too sweet that we slowly sip it even if it doesn't feel right.high sugar consumption is harmful for body(we know that). it similar to a mistake which we do again and again and enjoy doing it even if we know it's wrong might hamper our mind,body, soul etc. so point I want to make clear is Guys this series of poem will deal with similar bittersweet Mistakes I did in my life and convert it into a lyrical play so you can enjoy it. some mistakes are old, some recent, some small, some mammoth ones. But I won't turn back off and I'll admit those and acknowledge them, because that is who I am. enjoy this with me and do share, read and tell me. Feel free to PM, I am one text away!

Skylar Daze has always lived inside the fences that keep out the Invalids. She has been taught that love is a Disease and causes chaos. When she is accused of being a sympathizer and thrown in the crypts. A strange boy appears and helps her escape to the wilds. There she finds a tight nit community. She also soon discovers that love is a beautiful thing, but also can be tragic. (This is a story following Skylar who is lives in a complete different town/section then the characters in the delirium series. I just loved the series so much and wanted to try writing my own spin off of it!)
