A few turns and more stairs climbing later, we saw the red door. It stood in front of us in all its glory. Our final destination. I removed the silver key. The key had just laid helpless in my mother's old box. We finally found its key purpose. (See what I did there) I jiggled the key inside and turned the little black door knob. The door unlocked, and we welcomed the life or might I say, the lack of life in the dark world with open arms. - Nina Santiago (25 years old) and her son Diego Santiago's (5 years old) separation in the real world by death didn't matter as Nina tried to reconnect with him. I'm not like wonder woman, supergirl or catwoman. The only similarity we share is that we all have an extraordinary ability and are females. Many people would say having superpowers was a gift from god and the best thing that could ever happen to you. But not for me, being able to freeze time was more of a burden, because I couldn't control it and it had the worst timing to appear. I also didn't think about being a superhero and rescuing the world from the bad. The only thing I want is to be left alone and get over with my last year of high school.
