A new year means an end to contracts. And an end to contracts can lead to disbandment or a change in a group. So, 2016 has come, but who has left?

The disbanding of NCT was sudden and unexpected. Nobody in the industry could have predicted it since just the day before, the group still had schedules planned. There was no explanation for why, just an official post from the company saying that all NCT members' contracts had been terminated. It was a few months later that a channel on YouTube popped up called 'FullSun' with a video explaining everything. -This story has been rewritten as of October 31st, 2023- -originally posted in 2020-

Just a random book to express my gratittude to Wanna One since my fellow Wannables are already starting it 😊❤. As I said, I may not be very good at expressing my gratittude to them but I'll try my best and hopefully you won't tear up reading them. It's up to the boys to decide if they want to continue or give up. It would've been no problem if it wasn't for the lie that one of them uncovered. Now they're split up, but what happens when they reunite and everything goes wrong? This is Twisted Minds.

As I stared into her dull dark brown eyes , she told me something I never wanted to hear . "What Salamander?" She said it with so much disgust and hatred. My heart couldn't take it . "W-what do you mean? Why are you calling me that?...I'm Natsu. Remember?". "Yes, I do remember." My expression turned from shocked, to relief. "But I rather forget."

Many options ran through his mind as he walked down the hall. Maybe they got backlash for an Interview, or maybe the manager had an important request, but never in the world could he have imagined, that this would be the day that his world would be completely shattered. He didn't dare to look at his phone as tears gathered in his eyes. Minho beside him, who was cheerful just a minute ago, was frozen in his place, as they both heard what Chan had to say. That day everything precious to him got destroyed. He felt panic rising and left, not looking back **************************** A couple of years later, he froze, seeing the message on his phone. Minho: "We're having a gathering; do you want to come?"

This poem is inspired by the disbandment of GFriend in May 2021. I personally am a fan of this group and I am so sad to know the news of their disbandment. I write this poem as a comfort of my disappointment of the news and out of shocked as well. Even though they had posted their personal letters to all buddies out there anyway I just want to create one on my own based on my perception. I dedicated this work to GFriend's fandom BUDDY.
