(I DID NOT DRAW THE PICTURE)
It is the XVII century (17th),a world where mere humans and monsters live amongst each other .Mortals are unaware of the situation. However, certain people have discovered different abilities, similar to the game "D&D", those fighting evil behind closed doors.
One role mankind was known for was sorcerer. Those are considered spell casters, with the ability to cast spells, of course.Fighters, skillfully managing swords and such, Knights who have sworn loyalty towards their lord or ruler and Paladins who stand beneath the Gods they've chosen to believe in, eager for justice.
There come the monsters. Some are ravage beasts who only seek blood. Some are warlocks, wizards who have plumbed for the dark side, in hopes of more power, Soulmasters, beings able to resurrect the dead into beasts, loyal to their " creator" and the most feared one, Bloodborns.
Bloodborns are what the aware humans call "vampires". Night creatures with pale skin, ruby-red eyes, sharp ears and fangs designed for piercing the skin and feasting upon the individual. Those, being split into two categories: part of a clan or created for amusement, usually treated unequally. Clans are ruled by clan leaders, just like a king upon a kingdom. They are much more powerful, as might expected.
Will Byers has discovered ,as he's grown ,the fact that he is a sorcerer. Those being born with powerful skills. Him and Mike Wheelers, his childhood best friend, also known as a Paladin, live in secrecy among people unaware of this, conquering the evil together. On a journey, however, things take a turn for the worse as the duo, for fun, heads to a " fortune teller" that reads in the stars a dark path ahead. The boys, amused by the statement, walk away while mocking the recent encounter, only to face the undeniable destiny, as disaster strucks, changing everything.
