A Smiling Critters one-shot book! This will feature ships, stories that may or may not be canon to any Chapter of Poppy Playtime and even the Smiling Critters playing certain games! I do not own the Smiling Critters, the games or any other Poppy Playtime characters mentioned herein.

There has only been 7 smiling critters in the neighborhood: DogDay the self imposed leader. Bubba Bubbaphant the genius. Kicken Chicken the Daredevil. Hoppy Hopscotch the second Daredevil. CraftyCorn the artist. PickyPiggy the chef. Bobby Bearhug the therapist. There has always been 3 boys and 4 girls. They always easily outvote the boys whenever they want to do something different. One day a construction crew appears in the neighborhood and builds a new house that resembles a scratching post for a cat. Then a moving truck comes and puts boxes in the home. It's been 3 weeks and no sign of the new addition to the neighborhood. Everyone is getting impatient especially DogDay. He has a habit of greeting everyone first and he'll be damned if he doesn't get the first hello to the mysterious new neighbor. -------- 9/27/25 - #2 in dogdayxcatnap 2/24/26 - #1 in dogdayxcatnap

Before Playcare became a nightmare, it was home. Between classroom disasters, bedtime lullabies, growing friendships, and feelings neither of them quite understand yet, the sun and moon slowly find their way to each other. But beneath Playcare's bright halls, Playtime Co. is still watching. And nothing stays innocent forever.

Description: A few years ago a new Critter joined the Critters, Catnap. However, he is not in a good mood, as everyone had hoped. Dogday, the leader of the gang, has set himself the big goal of "becoming friends with Catnap". However, this mission keeps him quite busy, as Catnap continues to be stubborn and tries to avoid everyone... Will Dogday complete his mission successfully or not? Will Catnap finally open up to the other Critters? And maybe there is more behind his behavior than some might think? Read the book to answer these and many more questions! --------- There is no schedule for updates, but I still plan to finish this fic. After being shot 8 times, CatNap escaped with his body, entering a new town. This here town is called, "Harrisville." CatNap bought a new house for him and DogDay to live happyily. Although by appearance, this town may seem happier and funner than Redstone, that it is, but it's seems as if the people here are as just, if not weirder than at Redstone. They are all too kind, and nice for DogDay and CatNap's liking. They embark on a journey through the town, and with inertia, maybe... Will the both find their way to their hearts and seek the love they have wanted or will Kickin stays away from Bubba.
