We stood there. Tracing each other's scars. We wondered to ourselves the story behind them. But neither of us were willing to share. Why wasn't it simple? Why couldn't we just trust each other? Because we couldn't even trust ourselves. We weren't connecting because we liked each other, we were connecting because we both needed a way out. We were connecting because we both needed a reassurance about love. I'm not sure what this means for us. Our future. All I know is I'll never forget this moment. Because in this moment I felt a spark of hope, and a bit of me open up, without even saying anything. And I know she felt it too. Dylan Bates is training to take his father's billion dollar business for when he retires. He has done nothing but business related things all his life and has given up on anything else since the accident. Rebekah Brooks has been pushed around by her family and is basically taking care of her little sister. Just a few more months and she can fight for legal custody. When Rebekah does something completely insane and gets caught by Dylan she is given two choices. Work for him for six months to pay off the damage, or jail. With both of them coming from scarring pasts, they both have to learn to lean on each other for love, and hope. Because in six months, everything changes.
