The story behind this poem isn't much. Life as a teen can sometimes be challenging with the feelings that the world is against you and you don't have enough strength to keep going. However, most of us find our way into the brightness, beauty, and reality of the world, and we try to help those who haven't. Hopefully this poem will give a new perspective to not only teens but also to people who are having a hard time in life and think that they don't have the strength to keep going.

James was like every normal adult if we ignore his depression and suicidal tendencies. He had lost his job, had no friends he could be with. He just wanted to die, knowing that this life will never get better. However, he continued to push through he didn't know why but maybe he was meant to meet someone who saves him from his demons.

This story is about a girl who's life changed and always will be hard. Every since grade school up to high school she was bullied. For how she looked or because she had great grades. The only thing she wished for was a life that wasn't bullied not hard at home.

This is for every girl who never stopped dreaming, even when the world told her to wait. For the eldest daughters carrying the weight of family, for the silent battles fought behind closed doors, and for the dreams paused-not broken. I wrote this poem to share the quiet heartbreak of watching others move forward while you're held back by fear, finances, and unspoken sacrifices. But it's also a promise - that even in the pause, the fire inside keeps burning, ready to rise. To my parents, who did their best and feared the unknown.
