When Toby's fiancé Yvonne is injured when 'A' breaks in to get charlottes radley file, Spencer meets Toby at the hospital telling him that him and Yvonne need to get out because she is tired of seeing people she loves get hurt. After Toby thinks this through he goes to Spencer's barn to tell her the truth. 'I wasn't building he house for Yvonne, I was building it for you' Spencer new what he was going to say. He was leaving with Yvonne to live somewhere else. She said goodbye but he wasn't leaving yet, she needs to tell him the truth.

"Were in this together you know?" I smiled inside. But outside, I knew what had to be done. "Well, who ever said I was in it at all?" I screamed and cursed myself on the inside for doing this to him. I saw his sadness and loss of hope in his face. I've never seen him so stressed. "Please, Tessa, for me. Stay." He takes my hand. I want to kiss him. Pull him close. But I can't. I wrote some poems about love, suffering, depression, hopelessness, even finding hope, at the end. We all meet at some point in our lives, a person that turns our lives upside-down. So because of that, I chose to write these poems.

They stay that way for a long time, Catra's face tucked into Adora's shoulder, Adora gently cradling Catra's head. Adora is careful not to hug Catra too hard or make her feel restrained, anticipating the moment that Catra will start to pull away - but Catra doesn't. She hangs on so tightly it hurts, her claws digging through Adora's jacket and into her back, latching into her like she did when she was a kitten and didn't know how much her claws could hurt. Adora tries not to wince, tries not to move a single muscle, worried that if she does the spell will break and Catra will struggle away, appalled at having shown weakness.
