Her mom got diagnosed with cancer when she was 14 and didn't beat the fight when she was 15, ever since then it's always been her and her dad. Her mom loved chemistry and so did Lucy yet when her mom died she hated it and doesn't pay attention, she gets partnered with Peter Parker knowing there's something off about him, some days he won't come into class or others he would come in distressed or tired.
