When a child is born their soulmate is known by their name and status inked on the babies wrist. It's the summer before fifth year at Hogwarts. Harry is at Grimmauld Place where he feels drawn to a room. What he finds behind the door is a library, and Harry is surprised when he realizes he is eager to learn. Then he gets the news that give him hope: he's been accidentally expelled from Hogwarts, and he needs to be sorted again. Everyone is sure Harry will go straight back to Gryffindor but that is not what Harry wants. I don't own the characters, all credits to J.K Rowling.
