⚠️​Attention: Before reading, the content of this story will contain spoilers for the Moonvale game and for people who have only played the game, spoilers for my first story, since it is a sequel, it is recommended to play Duskwood and read it. ⚠️​ New and game conversations. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It's been weeks since the events of Duskwood and Macie's life has changed. Alone and without having contact with Jake and her friends from Duskwood, she tries to continue her life by pretending that she is perfectly fine, but how do you turn the page when you don't know if the love of your life is still alive? If your friends are okay after knowing that one of their friends betrayed them? But just when she thought she was done with being a detective after rescuing Hannah, a mysterious message thanking her for picking up a man named Adam will bring back the detective she wanted to leave behind.

This story follows that of the game. After saving Hannah, Jake escaped saying goodbye to MC and confessing his love to her. Some time later MC receives a strange message that will take her to Duskwood for the first time. This time it will be Jake who needs to be rescued.

Duskwood. JakeXMC, most could be taken as any relationship however. A series of one shots inspried by pictures that spoke to me. Also, some bonus one shots written from prompts. These stories vary a great deal in content.

Finally the day had arrived. Jake and MC were face to face after rescuing Hannah. But Jake's words would be something MC didn't expect. A Jake that didn't seem to be the one she had met through the messages. One that, with his words, made her see everything from another perspective about him.

They both said I love you as a series of events led to a fire, an explosion, and a potential identity detection. Jake escaped from the mine, but he is left without his equipment, his backpack, or a way to contact Marlowe. Determined to find his love, he trevails a long journey to recovery both physically and mentally. He has to find his way to her and out of the path of his pursuers. She, on the other hand, refuses to believe that he is dead as she uses her credentials to track him down. lead him to safety and help him earn his freedom.

The hacker Nymos has managed to keep many cyber criminal groups on their toes. Little did they know it was someone else far from being called a hacker. Could she play the hacker well ? Deceive the fbi ? How would that impact Jake and mc's relationship? Not sure if lady lotus can see that one. (AKA How to help your hacker boyfriend 101) Read the warnings!

Macie hasn't heard from Jake since his last message, and four days later, Lilly, Hannah's sister and the one who framed her and Jake for kidnapping, contacts her to tell her that Jake sent her a message saying that she is the key. The two girls will have no choice but to cooperate together to discover what Jake is trying to tell them with his riddles, although during their cooperation, their fights will be continuous. -------------------- Story based on Duskwood Episodes 6 and 7 and special story 'What if...? Duskwood'. Some conversations are changed to make it more dramatic, that's why you won't find some of the parts similar to the story.
