Jake Donfort is a love interest of MC in the mobile game, Duskwood. These are oneshots for the people who are like me and are obsessed with him. Charlee has spent years out of the spotlight. That is until a mysterious text from a stranger sets events in motion that she never expected. Now with a solved mystery under her belt, and a new group of friends she sets off on a mission to save the man she loves. A man who's past, and present of hacking puts them both under fire from the FBI. Just when Charlee thinks she is free from it all, an unexpected person from one of their pasts reenters their lives. The problem is...this person doesn't want Charlee and Jake to get their happy ending. Faced with adversity on either side will Charlee and Jake get their happy ending? Or will it end before it even has a chance to really begin? This story takes place directly after the ending of the popular phone detective texting game Duskwood. All credit goes to Everbyte- I highly recommend playing the game prior to reading this. While some things from the game will be hinted at, the vast majority of the plot of the game has not been included in this fanfiction. This fanfiction should be read by mature audiences, while there are not actual explicit scenes in this book the characters are in the mid to late twenties and some content may not be for you if you are under the age of 18.

This is a story about Jake and MC. Jake is a charcter from a game "Duskwood" by Everbyte. I would recomend playing the game before reading this, even when I changed some of the storyline to fit the story. After what...happened in the Ironsplitter Mines, the circle of friends had to take a break. Move on, clear their minds away from the event. Then two months later, they were back again. Two of them were missing, but they stood strong. Then, Y/n (Y/n means "your name", but you can change it to MC if you'd like) had an idea. They planned to go and move to Duskwood.

A quiet AU inspired by Top Gun (1986). On the outskirts of Duskwood, there is a forgotten shipping container- and a light aircraft. Rae (Female MC), a resident of Duskwood, visits the place out of habit. Jake appears without offering an explanation. At first, Jake's presence seems to change nothing. And yet, slowly, it changes everything. This is an AU about things that should have flown, but remained bound to the ground. Rusting metal. Unspoken memories. Questions that were never asked with the expectation of answers. This story was originally written in Korean, with help from a friend in translation. English is not my first language, but I have done my best to preserve the tone and atmosphere of the original. Fluency was never the priority- mood, silence, and restraint were. This is not a story about fast romance or clear answers. It leans heavily into atmosphere: dry heat, a red sun hanging on the horizon, long distances, and the things that are never quite said out loud. I've held onto this story for a long time. It was written quite a while ago, but I still care deeply about it- which is why I'm sharing it now. Please note: this is not a fluffy story. Complete short story. An extra story is currently in progress. (And yes-artistic license was definitely taken. I'm fully aware that planes don't actually work like this 😅)
