Newt has been in the glade for as long as he can remember. He's seen as the kind, helpful second in command who always has a smile, but what lies beneath is a dark secret. Will the new greenie Thomas be able to help Newt before it's too late? Will he be able to see past Newts smile and get to know the secret?

Thomas just got to the glade, where he meets Newt. He doesn't know why, but he recognizes the boy. He immediately taks a liking to the boy but is not sure if he feels the same way...Thomas is a curious boy, he wonders whats beyond the mazes walls.. Obs: I try making each part between 700-1000 words but It could me more. (I haven't checked for errors or spelling mistakes in any of the parts so....sorry?) Warning : spoiler of information that we learn only on The Death Cure (book 3) Newt can't do it anymore. Being in this place, feeling empty, with nothing to hold on to. It's too much for him, he has lost hope, until a greenie shows up. He's kinda different, he's curious. It's just a short story.
