Emil Steilsson had more than a lot of problems. His parents died and his brother, Lukas, could barely take care of him, he had to carry on five jobs. He could barely focus on his studies and often had to skip classes for work. Emil worked as well, but only one job. When His last two friends abandoned him, He resorted to isolating himself from other people. He only talked to others if he really needed to, and stopped trying to socialize. He still dreamt of a better future, but his hope was fading... That's when he met someone. The person who could change his life. And maybe even restore his broken up emotions.

Emil sneaks out in the middle of the night to hang out with his boyfriend, Alfred.

High school AU (DenNor and HongIce) Lukas and Emil are rich kids who go to an expensive private school. Their school decided to have a student exchange with a public high school. Lukas was the student chosen to go to the public school, so he will have to leave his home and school, and go live with a public schooler's family and live like, well, a normal person. Meanwhile Emil will have to deal with whichever public schooler was chosen to go to the private school since his family decided to house whoever came. As they exchange letters a strong friendship grows.
