Sometimes you can anticipate change. Like that feeling in your gut when you know something is changing in the future. Sometimes you have the luxury of knowing, even if it's just a little bit.
Adele Fair does not have such luxury.
Her life, and everything she holds dear seems to collapse and fall apart in a matter of minutes. But since it doesn't register automatically, the struggles last for what seems like ever.
Typical, right?
Except it's not. Or maybe it is. Will Adele figure out who she is now that everything has changed? Or should she fight for the normalcy that comforted her forever? How will her life play out on this new chessboard? Will she move first, and capture all the pieces and win?
Or will 'checkmate' ring in her ears before she even figures out how to play?
