Penelope finds herself with an orphaned girl left at the palace gates. With her husband gone for war Penelope gives the child to family in the palace. As y/n grows up with the young prince they form an unbreakable friendship. With the suitors becoming more violent y/n has never felt a need so strong as to protect the ones she has grown to love in the palace. She also is facing the challenge of what she is to Telemachus are they friends or lovers? There is also the question that arises of who is she? Why does the ocean call to her why do fish seem to always fill the fishermen's nets when she's around? Why is she so much stronger, and faster than the soldiers she trains with? The answer might shake the foundation of her new found family.

This is a fan fiction based on epic the musical. The story is based mostly on Hermes and The prophet(Tiresias). This story is completely fictional and is not canon to the epic plot(that's why its called fanfiction😑). Its bases mainly around how these two characters meet, and how their relationship progresses. And yes its gay. There's no adult content. There is however some cursing. There are also lots of mentions of gore. If any of these things bother you I would suggest not reading it. According to Homer, Odysseus is king of Ithaca, son of Laertes and Anticleia (the daughter of Autolycus of Parnassus), and father, by his wife, Penelope, of Telemachus. EPIC was owned by Jorge Rivera-Herrans started working on the musical around June of 2019 for his senior thesis for college. He wanted to create a musical that was inspired by video games and anime to "emulate their addictive sense of progression". He was heavily inspired by these media forms and references them throughout the musical.
