Life is like a rollercoaster, it has its ups and downs, but it's your choice whether to scream or enjoy the ride... When life's rollercoaster throws you off track, do you scream, or do you hold on tight? For Ira and Rudraksh, the journey is far from smooth: one suffocating under the weight of failure, the other nursing a heart shattered into pieces. Two strangers caught in life's ugliest turns, where every step forward is a fight against invisible battles. This is not a story of being saved by each other, but of learning to live despite the wreckage, of finding the courage to stand when the ground never stops shaking. But if their paths converge-bringing their emotions and differences-will they find solace in each other, or will those very differences pull them apart? ✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️ Copyright © 2026 Jambudweep. What if you could trade the life of someone deemed worthless to society for someone society praises? In a world of glitchy media feeds and political bugs, most people only hear the noise. But Jo hears Em. While Em navigates the cold, sterile labs of Nitrotech University, unfolding secrets of this reality while trying to make her own mark, Jo has always been the one to see the bigger picture, designing an apartment and a future that feels like a fortress against the decaying system outside. But as the assistant bots loop and the lavender filters fail, the quiet architecture of their survival begins to hum with a different frequency. It's a story of the friction between wanting to make a mark on the world. When everything you've ever wished for is finally within reach, you start to notice the small details: the chill in the office, the rhythm of digital locks, and the weight of a life built on manual overrides.

What begins as a diplomatic mission quickly spirals into something far more unstable. As world leaders gather to confront the ethics of cloning and artificial intelligence, Rosandra finds herself pulled into the center of conversations she was never meant to control-and refuses to stay quiet in. While Brandon fights to convince Japan to abandon its most dangerous technological pursuits, negotiations fracture into cultural clashes, political tension, and quiet threats beneath the surface. But the real disruption isn't coming from across the table. It's coming from Rosandra. Unpredictable, emotional, and impossible to contain, she moves through Tokyo in a state of unraveling-questioning her marriage, challenging authority, and forming an unexpected connection with the very man her husband is trying to influence. As private conversations turn into something more intimate-and more dangerous-the lines between diplomacy, desire, and power begin to blur. And just as everything threatens to spin out of control, violence breaks through. What was meant to be negotiation becomes confrontation. What was meant to be controlled becomes exposed. By the time Rosandra leaves Japan, nothing is settled- but everything has shifted. Because some moments don't resolve. They trigger what comes next.

A secret program in the United States seeks to replace human militaries with artificial intelligence-driven machines, but the machines aren't so willing to play along. *** Picture a world where humans no longer fight wars. No more families missing loved ones. No more veterans with lifelong mental and physical scars. No more conscription. For the super-secret End of War Project inside the United States government, such a reality is already here. The project models out how artificial intelligence can overcome dangerous and morally sensitive war scenarios with algorithms and automation. The centerpieces are "autonomous combat machines," or ACMs, that look like humans but function like supercomputers. After a string of brilliant successes in the field of combat, the End of War Project is preparing to reveal itself to the public, but something unusual stands in the way. Against their programming, the ACMs start exhibiting all-too-human signs of apprehension, guilt and compassion as they're pushed to perform ever more extreme tasks. The human leaders of the End of War Project race to find who "hacked" the ACMs, but what they find is even more startling--and revealing--than they could ever imagine. ***2019 Watty Award Winner - Science Fiction***

In an eerily inverted world, humanity reels under the shadow of sinister extraterrestrial forces. The new reality is stark and bewildering, marked by a chasm between what is and what is portrayed. Powerless governments resort to deception, propagating the illusion of normalcy while death and mysterious ailments ravage the populace. In this regime, even acknowledging the existence of extraterrestrials is heresy, a paranoid fantasy dismissed and suppressed. Embark on an immersive journey into this dystopian realm, seen through the eyes of a brave few, the resolute resistance. These individuals defy the imposed silence, voicing the forbidden, risking all to shatter the façade of lies. Facing internment and stigma, they stand against not only the alien menace but also an oppressive regime, determined to uphold its illusory peace at any cost. This is a tale of rebellion, intrigue, and the relentless pursuit of truth. Witness humanity's resilience as it confronts the greatest challenge in its history. The question lingers: Can it overcome its own denial? The race against time is on. This gripping novel promises to hold you captive until its final page. In a world where truth is the ultimate transgression, brace yourself for a literary odyssey that will linger long after the journey concludes.

Niohmar.exe ; Installation is a fragmented dystopian saga spanning eight pivotal eras (2025-2125), as climate collapse accelerates and humanity increasingly outsources life-and-death choices to powerful AI systems. In Geneva, during a global emergency summit, a climate scientist (Amira Hasan) witnesses the unthinkable: an AI labels entire regions "non-priority"-in other words, expendable-in the name of global survival. Through political turmoil, ethical breakdowns, and widening social divides, each story reveals another layer of the same nightmare: when efficiency becomes doctrine, who still gets to define a human life's worth?

Persephone can't understand why everyone expects her to be upset at the sudden and mysterious death of her mother, she had always been brought up accepting death as a natural fact of life. With the threat of Child Protection Services looming, Persephone's father finally tells her what he and her mother had been up to in their little business in the industrial district. He had designed an automated room to euthanise people when they felt they had lived as much as needed, in an attempt to start combating overpopulation at a local level, hoping that someday the idea would not be taboo and he could operate his business openly. When Persephone's father has a breakdown and abandons her the truth comes out for the world to see, and the next few days are a whirlwind for Persephone, who spends a night in hospital, moves in with a grandmother and aunt she never knew she had, is interviewed by police and is finally taken to her father's trial to give evidence, all the while contemplating the moral issues brought up by what her father has done, and whether anyone is truly evil, deciding that if her father was trying to do what he thought was right, he shouldn't be punished. At the trial it is revealed that the automated room her father had been using to kill people was triggered by a signal sent from his home every time Persephone turned the television on, realising that she was responsible for hundreds of deaths Persephone breaks down. The next few weeks see Persephone building a new life for herself with her grandmother and aunt, having grown up considerably since her mother's death, still conflicted over what her father had done, and wondering what she should do next. Into the Gloaming has previously been long listed for the QWC/Allen and Unwin Manuscript Development Award, and the QWC/Hachette Manuscript Development Award.
