(A continuation of "The Four Signs") Melanie no longer feels at home in Cair Paravel. Her cousin is distracted with his wife and all of her friends are gone. She takes matters into her own hands on the final installation of her adventures in Narnia, an epic finale that will leave readers to question everything. Based on "The Chronicles of Narnia" series by C.S. Lewis, this story follows twenty-two-year-old Melanie to the place where she will spend the rest of her days. After leaving behind what they worked so hard to save, the Pevensie's find themselves separating. Peter and Susan have left behind their youngest siblings to visit America, while Edmund and Lucy are sent to live with their disturbingly rude cousin, Eustace Scrubb. Meanwhile, the two newest rulers of Narnia have set sail on the Dawn Treader to find the lost seven lords, and may pick up something from the water on their journey.
