I think it's time those questions were answered. Katniss Everdeen has found herself in a situation that is a danger to her and the ones she loves. Ever since she pulled out those berries, President Snow has been a looming threat. When the Quarter Quell announces that she will be forced to repeat the Hunger Games again, she finds comfort in the arms of her star crossed lover, the boy she's turned away from, the boy she's grown to love. But when she finds herself pregnant, Katniss can only wonder how she can get both Peeta and their child out alive, Even if it means her own life.

It has been almost thirteen years since Katniss and Gale have seen each other. Now, when the Panem is about to go into another war, Gales comes back to District 12 to warn Katniss and Peeta. We all know and love the Hunger Games series written by Suzanne Collins, but in the Epilogue we fast forward about ten years and Peeta and Katniss have kids in a family and are playing in the meadow. This is how I think everlarks story would play out and how they would deal with all their hardships. They will have ups and downs and it is a rollercoaster, but is it worth it in the end?

I could never fully get behind the whole Peeta being hijacked thing, for some reason it just seemed to cliche to me, and Katniss being taken has been done to death. I think it would hurt Katniss more if it was Prim and I figured this is the best way to get the idea out of my head. BTW, this was written by a bored sleep deprived dyslexic so please excuse any spelling or grammar errors.

So this story is based off of Taylor Swift's song You Belong With Me, but with charcters from The Hunger Games trilogy, an EVERLARK twist, and a little twist of my own. I'm not really a Taylor Swift fan, but I thought this would be fun to write. Katniss and Peeta are neighbors and have been since they were little. They aren't the best of friends but they talk to each other from time to time. Katniss has a huge crush on Peeta, but he doesn't know it. Peeta is the star player on his football team and is dating the head cheerleader Delly. Katniss is the smartest person in their grade and is part of the school band. Peeta Mellark has been in love with the dark haired, grey eyes huntress from the Seem since he first laid eyes on her 11 years ago. He's watched her walk home everyday to a starving family that she alone provides for. He wishes he could help her, but he lives in the merchant part of District 12 and she is not someone to accept help from outsiders. When the horrid Reaping comes along, Peeta can do nothing to protect himself or the girl he loves from the dreaded Hunger Games. Katniss moved away to live with her Aunt Effie and Uncle Haymitch after getting her heart broken by no other than Peeta Mellark. Their group of friends were mad and upset with Peeta, but soon forgave him when they found out how miserable he was. Every night he cried from the loss of his love Katniss Everdeen. Over the years he became an empty shell. In an attempt to get over Katniss, Peeta started to date Delly Cartwright, but broke up with her during the summer before senior year. When Katniss moves back to Panem what do her friends think when they havent seen and barely heard from her for over 2 years. How will Peeta react? Will he win back the love of his life, or will old habits die hard and his player ways cause him to ruin his chances to ever be with her again? Will Katniss's world come crumbling down once more? And if it does will she crack or prevail?

I kinda love one-shots, reading them and writing them. This will mostly be my own stories (uploaded when they come to me) But if some amazing person who takes the time to read this for some strange reason wants to put their own one shot in this story too, i'd be happy :) Same goes for ideas, if you think i'd be able to pull off some scenario you have, just message me about it...actually message me about anything, i'm kinda lonely... I'm not gonna lie, this is gonna be mostly Everlark, so this is my fluff (highly sophisticated and beautifully written fluff though, of course) enjoy x
