This is my first short story entry for the National Geographic contest. We were asked to create a 500 word or less short story about #PlanetOrPlastic. I hope one day, we look around, and our eyes finally open.

🌏The environment is necessary for our life, so we must join hands to protect the Earth-our sweet home. 🌐This is Vietnamese law, but it has been recognized by national organizations and written in English. The raw translation is collected from the Internet and re-translated and edited by me-Alph16. Therefore, all of us can read and understand it despite our nationalities. ©This law on the protection of the environment is published freely by Vietnam according to Vietnamese laws. I'm Alph16, a Vietnamese writer on Wattpad, and I just design the book cover to give this important law a better-looking appearance and re-translate it with better grammatical textures. All of the contents in the original language are shared freely on Vietnamese government websites.

What would you do if one day you woke up to an alarm and lights and a deep scary voice telling you to go out of your house? Well, I would be scared as crap! Maddie is lead to a different planet outside of the milky way! The Earth is a piece of burnt land, the solar flares turned the earth into a tanning bed! Ella, who has the ability to control the growth of plants, the elements and the weather, is going to find out why and what she really means to earth. Found in the middle of nowhere and on the path of learning to control her emotions without causeing natural disasters with the help of her best friend Sophia. A children's book representing earth day. About the life of a tree and how she perceives the world around her and processes the ongoing change the earth goes through and what she experiences in her local forest. I wrote this as a 6th grader in English class, I was bored with the earth day topic I had been assigned and decided to write my own short story based off my own earth day topic.

The fate of humanity hangs in the balance. Aliens from Planetary Welfare Services, headed by a race known as Bureaunians, appear one day to sue humans on behalf of Earth and its ecosystems. When the UN appoints Erdmann Barrister and his partner Bhumi Gupta, the pair are tasked with winning the case. However, it quickly becomes apparent that the odds are stacked against them. Between a smug Bureaunian prosecutor that looks like an arachnophobe's nightmare stuffed into a can, the fact that evidence for planetary neglect is rampant, and testimony from an oddly elegant octopus, it seems unlikely that Erdmann has a chance to win. But win he must, because failure means humanity loses custody of Earth...or worse.

A poem for the thing most taken for granted today.

Ioni is just your average fifteen-year-old in the world of Yuin. A planet where they have to rely heavily on sand and blood made a 'utopia' to them where we would think of as something else. Follow this young boy's journey which all started from being a worried son to find out more about his world, how it functions, and stories about another utopia called 'Earth.' It is a poetry which unleashes the inexorable unprecedented feelings of mine for our mother earth which arose after witnessing the current plight i.e. the pandemic COVID-19. The poetry illustrates the hallmark of the planet earth and indispensable reasons that make it unique.

Lissabite has always known just how different she is from everyone she knows, but it becomes even more apparent when a stranger wanders into her home accusing her family and making demands.

"This is a short story that is dedicated to the nature and human interaction to it. Mother Nature will be represented by heroes in the Land of Dawn. Please take care of nature and do not destroy it or it will punish us in horrible ways."
