The demons never actually leave, they come back at the hardest times, they like to dig the knife a little deeper and torture you until you cry. The darkest times they appear and you can't help but let them. You can cover a thousand feelings behind one of your happiest smiles and most people are unable to see through it. Although there is always that one person that you have in your life, the one person who stays during all the moments in your life, good or bad. They can see straight through your little act of happiness and they make a promise to themselves to make that smile a happy smile.

Golden whips the ball at me and I slam the ball and sprint to the plate. I get all the way to third before Golden gets it. The ball was over thrown and he stepped off the mound and I sprinted like I was running from Scotty. I touch the plate right as he throws the rubber ball at my face. I fall on the ground and get up.
