Following a three month long tour and being away for nearly a year, Luz Noceda was finally back in California. Living in her "aunt" Eda's house, she only intended to ride her motorcycle and hang out with her friends, Willow and Gus, all summer. That was until she got paid six hundred dollars a week to befriend the upcoming musician and pop punk princess, Amity Blight, who just so happened to move in right across the street. This is a fic loosely inspired by a mix of early 2000s and modern day pop culture, style, music, and nostalgia for the 2016 era. Additionally, this fic is more centered around specific musicians rather than their entire band, unlike a traditional band au. Enjoy.

Ever since Luz arrived on the Boiling Isles, she has been learning about everything she's ever dreamed about. Magic, monsters, and so much more. She made new friends along her magical journey, including a secret admirer. Being the oblivious person she is, Luz hadn't noticed that someone by the name of Amity had a crush on her. However, as time goes on, Luz begins to develop a strange feeling inside of her...a different kind of magic. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ To give a bit more of context, the story basically goes the same way as the actual show, but with some of my own twists (there will be no smut because my soul can't handle typing it.
