"Do you know what to do, Amunet?" A voice as sweet as silk whispered into the young girl's ear. Amunet didn't look over her shoulder, but shifted uncomfortably on her bare feet before nodding her head. A soft hand touched her back and urged her forward. All eyes turned towards the girl dressed in transparent linen with her dark hair tumbling down her back and her violet eyes lined by kohl. Every movement caused the jewels on her wrists and ankles to dangle and shimmer in the light. She raised her head and found the Pharaoh's transfixed stare. His jade eyes narrowed in on hers and the room became still and silent. Amunet bowed and, at the pluck of a harp string, began to dance. --- DISCLAIMER: this story is NOT historically accurate. It does not take place in any real time period and therefore there will be inaccuracies and areas that don't make sense in the context of "ancient Egypt." CONTENT WARNING: though this story is not explicit (sexual or otherwise), it does mention more mature themes that may be troubling to some readers, including but not limited to forced prostitution and miscarriage. cover by @Addietay

Copyright © 2025 Maysa has always lived between worlds - the daughter of an Arab father and a Nigerian mother, raised in a home that looked perfect from the outside but was already breaking behind closed doors. From an early age, she learns what it means to be too much of one thing and never enough of another. After her father's death, the space between those worlds only widens. Rejected where she expects comfort and misunderstood where she seeks belonging, Maysa grows up carrying quiet losses, complicated family ties, and questions she's never been allowed to ask out loud. As she steps into adulthood, she is forced to confront what she's been taught about love, loyalty, faith, and womanhood - and what she actually believes. In a world where tradition speaks loudly and girls are expected to endure silently, she must decide who she is beyond survival. Then she meets Faruk - steady, patient, and unexpectedly gentle with the parts of her she keeps hidden. With him, Maysa begins to question whether love has to be painful, and whether softness can exist without loss. Maysa is a coming-of-age story rooted in culture, family, and faith. It explores identity, belonging, and the slow, fragile process of choosing yourself without losing where you come from. Soft, emotional, and deeply human, this is a story about a girl learning that strength doesn't always look like resistance - sometimes it looks like becoming. When Isobel Carnahan picked up a gun in the sandy grounds of Hamunaptra and decided to fight, little did she know that it was the start of the rest of her life. A woman who could shoot as well as she could patch a wound was the last thing that Rick O'Connell expected to find in the desert, and when he ends up stumbling through the sand for days on end, she becomes nothing more than a figment of his imagination. It's only when he's about to be hanged in prison three years later that he learns that she is and was very real. Now, when they'd forced together on a seemingly impossible quest to stop a resurrected Mummy with limitless power, they seem to be drawn together by a force more powerful than any at Imhotep's disposal. The question becomes, will they survive long enough to explore it, or become another skeleton buried within the City of the Dead? (The Mummy - The Mummy: Returns) (Disclaimer: I own nothing but Isobel and any original scenes and dialogue I've written)

-- Divine Legacies Series Copyright©2026 Cover by: @Ralorra

Fourteen-year-old Robby Schur is a history nerd from Sunstone, Arizona - the kind of kid who knows too much about the past and absolutely nothing about how to be popular. A school archaeology trip to Egypt sounds boring enough... until something goes very wrong. Robby falls straight into the past - into ancient gods, broken timelines, and a disaster that threatens all of human history. Bound to a mysterious golden amulet with a mind of its own, Robby discovers that time itself is cracking - and someone has to stop it. He has no superpowers. No combat skills. Just his brain, his sarcasm, and a very bad sense of timing. To survive, Robby must bargain with gods, outthink enemies, and make choices no fourteen-year-old should ever have to make - because fixing the past may cost him his future.

Now that the days of yokai fighting, Armageddon evasion, and the pandemic have subsided, what is left for Team Urameshi to do? Try living normal lives. Kuwabara is doing his part as a university student, Yusuke is involved in supernatural freelance work under the guise of a noodle stand, and Kurama is involved in the family business and...dating? Huh? Ikeda Kiyoni has many labels associated with her name. Biracial, Bi-cultural, Bi-curious[?], and now that she's back in Japan after a decade-long stint in another country, she can add "Kikokushijo" or "Returned Child" to that list. However, those come second to the "caretaker" label given to her on her grandmother's behalf. Time is running out for Grandmother Ikeda and if Kiyoni doesn't find a cure soon, she could kiss both grandma and her ties to Japan a heartbreaking "sayonara". So how complicated could things be when a bloodsucking, alien nightcrawler with an unknown disease enters the chat especially when border control officer Hiei is taken down? Foreign relations between humans is edgy enough. Could the same can be said for yokai? Only time will tell.

[The update schedule is posted monthly] (Temporarily on hiatus until further notice [Jan. 22, 2022]) Summary: Duty and heart is an age old question to many. But none so more difficult for Iris, who swore to correct her sins and guide the Nameless Pharaoh to the afterlife. But the heart wants what it wants no matter how much she shuts it close. But no matter what happens, she will do her duty. No matter how much heartache it will give her in the end. Because she is the Pharaoh's guardian. * * * * * * Message from the author: Pharaoh's Guardian is my take on the Yu-Gi-Oh! Season 0 and Duel Monsters plot and mix it with when magic comes into play. And they say the Items were already a hassle along with the Shadow Realm. But they don't really count on what they cause around them when the holders use it. Magic is not dead, scarce but not dead. It has been confirmed in the Dartz/Doma arc anyway, and I'm planning to keep that element towards its sequel. Disclaimer: I do not own Yu-Gi-Oh! or its characters as they belong to their rightful owners. I only own the plot and my OC's Story ranking: #7 in Items 2019 #7 in AtemxOC 2019 #6 in YamixOC 2019
