He was tall; his broad build, caramel-colored skin, silky brown curls, and deep brown eyes made him both imposing and incredibly handsome. A small beauty mark rested above his right eyelid, and an amused smile curved across his lips. A sheer fabric draped over his torso and legs, held only by a golden belt adorned with pearls, while delicate shoulder pieces emphasized his intimidating silhouette. Countless gold necklaces cascaded down his chest, and two golden rings hung from his ears. Bracelets decorated his wrists - some adorned with precious stones, others with shimmering pearls. He wore a different ring on each finger. Yan narrowed his eyes. There was no doubt about it - the man perfectly matched the well-known description of the King's son, the Prince of Egypt. Step by step, the Prince slowly continued approaching until he finally stopped right in front of the young man, locking his gaze onto his. Disturbed and flustered, Yan forced himself to meet the Highness's eyes for a moment before quickly looking back down at his hands. A subtle, sweet fragrance lingered around the man. The Prince kept staring straight through him before glancing down at the candidate's trembling hands, now clutching tightly at the fabric of his clothes. Thoughtful, the Prince gave a slight nod and let out a quiet hum. "Hm..." Then he turned toward Dina. "I quite like him. He'll become my servant." Dina sighed before nodding. "Very well, Lord Amir."

She grapples with obedience and defiance. With faith and secrets. She is the daughter of a crusader who will go down in history... infamously. But what of her? What of her escape from him and the journey that follows? A journey that will take her to her father's foe. The most powerful warrior and conqueror the lands have seen in many years. The Sultan who grants victory. Salah ad-Din Yusuf ibn Ayyub. ~ Assalaamu Alaykum This is a story that will try to adhere to being as halal as possible for the sake of authenticity and accuracy with the pertinent characters and their actions according to the context of the era and the religion. But while I am religious and all three main Abrahamic religions are part of my faith (in a sense I am ecumenical with all 3) I am therefore non-denominational so I don't practice Islam or the others in complete adherence to all tenets and rituals. So as a writer with passion for certain eras and historical figures, I take liberty in writing stories about them, with no intention to offend these people or anyone else, and I can't promise every little detail will be accurate or always halal (maybe sometimes there is haram intentionally because of certain characters personalities). Keep this in mind before reading. Graphic content warning: strong language, and blood and violence only

In "Ensure That the Desert Does Not Grow", the ninth volume of "The Right People" series, Tom and his companions are drawn into a widening circle of intrigue that spans Europe and Africa. Their journey leads them through covert encounters, political maneuvering, and personal entanglements, as they navigate worlds where idealism and ambition collide. Along the way, they facilitate a clandestine meeting between a British intelligence operative and a man intent on becoming the world's most powerful hashish trafficker. Later, they accompany Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi on a journey to Mali, where he seeks to broker peace between the Malian government and the tribes of the country's north. In Timbuktu, they meet President Moussa Traoré and representatives of the Tuareg and Fulbe and witness fragile attempts at reconciliation. Returning to Tripolis, Tom and his friends encounter Oliver Tambo, the exiled leader of the African National Congress and a group of South African freedom fighters, further drawing them into the currents of liberation movements and geopolitical struggle. Amid these events, the long‑standing love triangle between Tom, Nikos, and Sophia finally finds resolution as Sophia discovers new love with a Nubian named Maher. As always, this novel is a work of fiction. Although grounded in extensive historical research, all characters - including historical figures - and all events depicted in the story are entirely fictional. New chapters are published every Saturday.
