Hello, Future Sibuna Member! Amber Millington here; I know you weren't expecting me to be writing this (though Alfie is here to help edit the book), but someone had to make sure our rules and stories were documented, and as I created Sibuna, the duty falls on me. Congratulations on getting your hands on this book. This accomplishment signals that the Egyptian gods have some sort of magical plan for you or one of your close friends - why else would you have reached out to us Sibuna's for help. But what is this handbook going to do, I hear you ask? Well, it is packed with our club's rules, stories of our adventures, individual Sibuna member information, and insights about Ancient Egyptian deities, creatures (the friendly and the deadly), the mysterious Duat, and more; this primer will prime those chosen by the gods to take their first steps down the path of adventure ahead of them. You'll hear from Alfie and me as we navigate the crazy world of Sibuna so far for us - we are trying to get some interviews from everyone else too. But if there is anything you need to take away from this straight away its keep an eye out for tricks and surprises because the world of the gods and Egyptian magic means anything can happen.

"I wanted to give this to you in person," Anubis said, taking a step closer to the girl who was evidently petrified. He handed her a crisp white envelope that had his name written in a cursive scrawl. With shaky hands, Zaina took the envelope. Not knowing what to do, she performed an awkward curtsy which was met with a hearty laugh from the god. He lifted her chin with a finger and grinned that heart-stopping grin once more. Anubis trailed the finger up her jaw and laid it beneath her ear. "I'll see you around," he whispered, ghosting his lips over the shell of her ear. He stood up and walked away as though he had not made a long lasting impact on the young girl before him. After taking a few breaths to calm herself, Zaina opened the envelope. Captain A. Rhodes skills include: drinking, pissing people off, smuggling, drinking, and stealing mythological artefacts from places that shouldn't really exist. Oh did I mention drinking? They are often seen battling deadly creatures with a bottle in hand, making deals with the rich, and drinking tea with the devil once a month. But all that seems like a cake walk compared to dealing with a new unwanted member of the crew; Helena Langdon. I mean, Lady Helena Langdon, the rich daughter of an old friend who is too stubborn to listen to reason and that resurrecting the dead is a god awful idea. Throw into the mix an immortal hellbent on suicide and revenge, plus a man who is determined to bring someone a little more powerful back from the land of the dead, the enigmatic Captain is going to need a lot of whiskey to sort this shit out.

So. My thoughts for this book: what if they did get their dreams met, and got to have normal, non life threatening, monster-free lives. What if Percy, Annabeth, and everyone else werent half bloods but just cool teenagers? What if the gods only supremacy over these kids was their roles as teachers? What, exactly, would it be like? So that's how it began. And somewhere down the line I decided i needed a main character, an OC to tie it all together. And that is when I looked closer at a certain Chase family menber, and made her more than she was. I hope you enjoy! Remember to leave a Star🤩 and comment your thoughts! See you in school-or detention shall I say. Watch out for Nobody, and avoid the dam wolves-they will go for you.
