For all of the Delena shippers (including me) that stopped reading the series after L.J. got fired and the ghost authors continued the series, for the ones that need an alternate ending, or for the ones who want more :) With Mystic Falls saved, and every human's memories erased, everything can go back to the way it was... except there will be no wicked Salvatore brother to mess the order all up again. But Elena didn't just lose the love of her life; she lost her wings too, at court, but soon feels another pair coming-and not necessarily a righteous kind, but an effectual one all the same. She can no longer bear the pain of being without Damon, but there is no other option than to wait for it to become a little more tolerable... unless her first love can mend her heart. CHARACTERS THAT I DO NOT OWN BELONG TO L. J. SMITH, ALONG WITH THE SETTING IDEA, AND VAMPIRE POWERS. SOME THINGS MAY BE CHANGED. This fanfiction is about Elena falling in love with Damon (you didn't see that coming, did you?) but with a little twist: Damon accidentally becomes human and now they need to find a way to reverse the spell. But how did this even happen and what influence does it have on Elena's feelings for the ex-vampire? Oh, and you should probably know that the story attaches to the events of Season 2 Episode 12 (Rose's death, etc.) but in case you don't remember it I added the last scene of that episode to the beginning of my story. (btw, I'd be very happy to get some feedback about the storyline and writing skills so I can improve. Also, feel welcome to leave some suggestions in the comment section.)

Stefan is aware that Elena doesn't suspect that Damon is interested in her. Stefan isn't bother by Damon's womanizing at all, as long as Elena is out of the picture.
