Irva adalah sebuah dunia dengan sejarah panjang yang kini telah menjejaki era ke 11, Sierre Terre, yang di kenal sebagai masa yang paling kacau setelah kemunculan fenomena alam Etherwind. Layaknya radiasi yang menyebar melalui udara, Etherwind menyebabkan mutasi ganas yang menyebabkan evolusi tiap kehidupan termasuk kelahiran para monster. Calico adalah jelmaan seekor siput yang terkena radiasi Etherwind.
