Their friendship. ⭐︎★⭐︎ While this story can be read as a One-Shot told from Azriel's POV (without needing to ship any pairing), it is also a bonus chapter for "Never Enough" which is a slow burn Gwynriel story with an Evil-Elain-Arc. I absolutely love the dynamic between Feyre and Rhysand in the A Court of Thorns and Roses Series. Also doing some Nessian and Elriel and Varren, possibly give Mor someone to really love *cough cough* the Firebird Queen *cough cough*

A different take on what Elain may be feeling internally after Hybern in regards to her relationships.

Elain was pregnant before she became immortal and she lost her baby. Azriel is the first one to find out. Spoilers for those who did not read The ACOTAR series.

A few years have passed since the war with Hybern. Rhys and Feyre have had their baby, Cassian and Nesta have finally acknowledged their mating bond and Elain and Azriel are now together. Everything seems to be right within the inner circle and the other courts. Except for Mor, who has fallen in love with a foreign queen who she believes might be her mate. Upon discovering the terrible curse the queen's subjected to, she asks for the inner circle's help to break it. The only problem is that Azriel soon realizes that there are deeper and darker secrets that haunt Kayara, the foreign queen. ------- I hope all of you enjoy this story that has been in my mind for quite a long time! What happens when Elain is running late one day, and accidentally takes the wrong one? The wrong what? I guess you'll have to read and see! 😉 Or, I just really didn't know how to write a description.

After Elain forms a new friendship with Cassian, Nesta herself finds a new friend in Azriel who basically becomes her ride or die much to Cassian's frustration who is too jelous to realize its a platonic realtionship.
