this poem is about moving on from your past mistakes, letting go of the people who hurt you and embrace life in a new, possible way. life is beautiful and too short, exploiting it on fair-weather friends will just complicate your life excessively. instead, embrace life, embrace you and let go of the mishaps.

Love. We all have our own definitions of love, some say it’s that warm fuzzy feeling we get when we see that one special person, others say it’s that feeling of home, knowing that they are yours and you are theirs. But what actually is love? Is it no more than a connection you’ve made with that person? No more than a slight chemical imbalance your body? Or is it deeper than that? Does love flow right down into your soul? We all love something, a book, a tv show, family, friends, pets, each and every one of us will experience love at some point in our lives. Some may have a more potent encounter with it than others, some may look for it every day of their life, and some may have it handed to them.

So basically I'm writing this story for my friend. So read it if you will, but just saying it'll probably suck.
