The African version of ''The Hate You Give.'' The story reminisces police brutality in Nigeria. It captures our pains, loss and the disgusting evidence that lady Justitia has remained without a blindfold for most part of history. I write for everyone. #remembertheirnames

This is a poem about social injustice and faint hope. It's born out of the pain of the Lekki massacre that took place on the 20th October 2020 when soldiers on the order of the government shot and killed unarmed citizens who held the flag and sang the national anthem and who were on a peaceful protests. The pain and horror of that day will forever be imprinted on the heart and history of the Nigeria republic.
