I wrote this when I was 21, inspired by a lesson we had in Theology when I was 19. My teacher said a lot of things back then, but one thing stuck to me: "Love is dying." Love is dying so others can have a better life, so that others can grow. Love is dying in the sense that a part of you dies to give room for caring, loving and growing others. And so I wrote this with that in mind. Amorte came from "Amor", meaning love and "Morte", meaning death. I was so young thought it was cool. Even if it wasn't, I did not want to change it anymore. I wanna freeze part of my innocence and childhood in that way. I hope I was able to express it well..

Darling, whole life is a miracle.....

and every night, after a very tiring day of life, she would pick up the pen and write. thoughts she wanted to share, lessons she wanted to tell, messages she wanted to give. for the night is the time for the liars to be truthful, for deceivers to be who they are, for the tired to be lively.

"Light of Life" is a motivational poem about the journey of life, where happiness and sorrow walk side by side. It reminds readers that even after darkness, light awaits. The poem speaks of chasing dreams, learning from falls, and embracing hope. It encourages hearts to stay filled with love and move forward with courage, believing that brighter days always follow the rain.

This is a book with a bunch of poetry I wrote. I don't write poetry very often but when I do I'll post it here :) All the poetry I feel comfortable sharing will be here. I am far from good but I do enjoy writing it and I'd like to get better at it so feedback would be appreciated <3 Most of the poems are in English, some are in dutch. Enjoy reading!
