Raphael is a part of Les Amis De L'ABC, a revolutionary group fighting for the people of Paris. He knows the risk of being with them, but is willing to give his life for his brothers. It helps that both his little cousin, Gavroche, and one of his closest friends, Enjolras, is in the group. Enjolras is the one who suggested he come. But when the time is finally arriving for the group's cause, there is one member of Les Amis who just isnt as committed as Raph and the others. Marius. He is hopelessly in love with a girl, and none of them can get him to commit more to them than he is to her. It irritates him. But when he is the first one to die on the barricade, it changes everything. They hear rumours two women have killed themselves. His girlfriend's father has left Paris. This was now affecting much more than themselves. Soon, they heard one more rumour that at least a hundred more men were being told to fight to take the barricade down. They hardly believe it, but in the next battle, they are hit with such force that two more men die. Enjolras commands all women, fathers and children to leave. Raph begs Gavroche to leave, but he refuses, but is killed in the next battle alongside Eponine, his sister. Both of Raphael's cousins are dead. He leaves the barricade, but the next day, he hears shots, and rushes back. They are attacking with such force that their forces would never survive it. He arrives just as Enjolras commands them to shoot back. He runs to him, sees him fall, and feels a shot himself. He dies. The only survivor is Enjolras. Marguerite stared at Marius in complete shock, her eyes scanned his face for a sign of flashing humor, she wished for a hint of flippancy. The young girl laughed breathlessly as realisation hit her, the infatuated fool wasn't joking in the least. Marguerite Boisvert did not have hope for love, she had hardly enough hope for living but yet she lived still, a punishment from a God who wouldn't let her die. Marguerite Boisvert however did have hope for a family, wished for one to hold her as she cried. What Marguerite Boisvert received instead was more than she had ever imagined. A revolution was coming, a new dawn would rise, a group which almost became historic will live on forever in the minds of those left behind.

All the discussions about revolution and republicanism seem to be only an idea. A great idea surely, but only in the minds of les Amis de l'ABC. This is the greatest fear of Enjolras; the people are tired and will not have the power to support a revolution. At least that was his fear until he heard a song, a song that filled him with hope -they were not alone. I do not own any of the characters (Amis) and all credits go to Victor Hugo. I do not own either the images. Basically I do not own anything except the story, but I think that's enough. That's actually not a classic y/n story. The y/n persona is mostly already constructed. But what I wished for this character, mademoiselle Claudel, was that every reader could add a personal missing part (that's the name, or personal characteristics that are not described by me) and really deepen into the feelings and the thoughts of the story's characters. You know, if she had a name she would be an already unchangeable, immobilized character like the ones in the novels. But she, I think is much more because a part of her belongs to the reader only. And the readers are unnumbered and so are the variations of the feelings and the thoughts a man can have. Still updating in this one! Please be patient mon amis! One day I'll finish it, promise...
