How am I supposed to die at the barricades when I see my future in your eyes? Love had never been in the cards for Enjolras. He could never take his eyes away from his beloved Patria for long enough to notice women around him. At least, that was the case until the sapphire eyes of a woman from a cabaret began to consume his every thought. I am not Victor Hugo. I do not own any of the characters from Les Misérables.

Evelyn is the daughter of General Lamarque. She lived in France when she was little but then moved to England because her mother wanted her to be educated. By the time she was 21, her mother had been murdered from an intruder. Evelyn was then sent back to her father's house back in France. A lot had changed in France when Evelyn was gone and she couldn't help but feel sorry for the poor. During a street mishap was when she met the revolutionary schoolboys and their leader, Enjolras.

A bunch of crappy, cliched, overdone Enjoltaire one-shots because I don't know when or how to stop myself and they make me happy Updates whenever I feel like it/whenever I have a new one. :)

"I'm Enjolras, nice to meet you." Enjolras' eyes narrowed and a small smirk formed on his lips. But Grantaire could see he was in a lot of pain. "I know who you are. You're the kid who always gets in trouble. Well, I have to confess, good job on this one." Grantaire tried to joke but he was still nervous as hell. "You're Grantaire, right?" He was surprised the boy even knew his name and he responded with a kind nod. "Yes. That would be me, R, Grantaire, whatever. But what the hell happened to you, you don't just get robbed inside of school?" --------------------------------------------------------------- Or, an E/R modern school AU where E is in trouble and R helps him, I guess. On My Own from Les Misérables, fitted for Grantaire.

A short story about Grantaire and Enjolras. Grantaire had never been very confident or outgoing, and lately his life has been kind of rough. His parents died and gave all their money to his sister, and he lost his job in the matter of a week. So it was not uncommon for him to be hanging around a bar trying to drink away his problems. At first his drinking wasn't an issue, but soon his life loomed over him like an old rotting willow tree. Threatening to topple at any second and persistently pushing bottle after bottle into his hand.

For Enjolras, the past six months have been the most incredible time of his life. Six months ago, he married his best friend Grantaire. Life couldn't be any better - and then, in addition to all of the great things going on, he and his business partner, Marius (both of whom are lawyers at Valjean Law Firm), get to take the lead on one of the biggest trials of the decade. Basically just a fun, domestic, modern day Les Mis story featuring all of your favorite revolutionaries!
