They're the only links to her past... a great mystery, even to her. At sixteen, she was admitted to Brooklyn Asylum in which she was told to write in her journal every day. She did... but she only wrote memories of everything before she was admitted. When one of the other patients, Solomon, finds her journal and reads it, he realizes she is exactly like him. She's not insane. What she writes about may appear normal, that of an 'ordinary teenage girl'... but in between the lines lurks something magical... and lies the answers to the great mystery of Krishka's past. Through Solomon's experiences and her past, they both unlock the binds that shackle their future. And in each other, they find freedom in a new world.

The great thing about this is that you don't know who I am and I don't know who you are. We could know each other in real life or we might live on the opposite sides of the world and we'll never know. And yet here I am sharing my thoughts, ideas etc. with anyone who is willing to read. She's so alone. Always alone. She can't find anyone that's would take her, after what's happened to her. Her parents abandoned her, her so called "boyfriend" abandoned her. She's all alone now. He's done some things he's not so proud of, and he's hoping a new start will erase all the bad, but when he moved he didn't expect to find someone so alone, so scared, so weak. He just had to help her, he had to make sure she was ok, he had to take care of her, no matter what. And he didn't even know anything about her yet!! He just had to keep her safe, but she wouldn't let him. She pushed him away so he couldn't help her. She doesn't want him to help. She hates him, yet she doesn't even know him. She doesn't want to let anyone inside her heart, it's to broken. Is this story just doomed for sadness? Or can they maybe find some happiness somewhere? Read and find out.
