This is part 2 of " Is This the Real Thing." Can and Sanem had found each other, and a love that was bound to be. They would make their life become as one, whether their families liked it or not. This could prove to be a test of their desire to love and live together, or except what traditions and society would have them do.

And when she got tired of fighting and trying to utter muffled protests, he carried her from her legs and placed her on his shoulder and started walking towards his car not carign about her gasps and breathless screams. Melhores amigos de infância. Era assim que Can e Sanem se definiam. Mesmo após ter passado dez anos nos Estados Unidos se formando em Direito, voltar a Istambul e encontrar Sanem era como estar voltando para um lugar ao qual sempre pertencera. This is an attempt to navigate through thoughts and feelings that filled a year when Can and Sanem were seperated.

He looked at his own records and he found the song to which she asked him for a dance the first time they came to the cottage together... when she was tipsy and when she called him "the bad king". He smiled at the memory! Aha! He found it... so he started the phonograph, and this is when Sanem finally stopped her blabber...She went back in time to that magical day, almost like a fairy tale it was... (This story is the mountain cottage date scene in the series reimagined and put down in words. As it is only a scene, it has an open ending)

After surviving the car crash, Can still has no memory of Sanem. What can he do? Sanem has brought him to the rocks...

Suha- a sweet, kind, and caring 21-year-old girl, with beauty incomparable. Always looking out for her family and friends- even strangers. When she gets married to the biggest businessman in Turkey, someone she very least expected to marry, she realizes how simple love is. Sohab- a caring and outgoing 25-year-old, he's made it to the top 15 beautiful faces in the world from the age of 17, he has girls running around him waiting for any chance to create a relationship with him. Suddenly his grandmother gets sick and her last wish is to see her grandchildren married. He agrees to get married to a fellow businesswoman, who he's only known for a few weeks and he too realizes how simple love is "Time went on, and I didn't even realize when I fell in love with you."

Ok, on the EK for English Speakers Facebook group, I posted a short snippet in reaction to the end of episode 41 where it ends with Can going into the fire. I'm copying it here and am working on expanding it a bit further beyond just our two star crossed lovers.

THIS IS A 1 SHOT - 1 PART fan fiction based off of the turkish TV show Erkenci kuş and the main couple #CanEm, Sanem Aydin and Can Divit. A day dream about a storyline from episode 40.
