*Note: I never finished this one, but it leaves off at a decent stopping point. Made a couple minor updates to correct the spelling of a character's name* One of the great lyricists of our time wrote that "each step you climb is one more step up the ladder", but they forgot to mention that sometimes just when you get to the top of that ladder, your neighbor Vern kicks you down. Ernest P. Worrell dreams of becoming a gym leader, but he has a ways to go before he can qualify. But through a series of circumstances, he finally gets his chance to go on his own pokémon journey. Does he have what it takes to be the very best?

Two young gents have taken to bending the truth in order to put some excitement into their lives. Worthing has invented a brother, Earnest, whom he uses as an excuse to leave his dull life behind to visit Gwendolyn. Montcrieff decides to take the name Earnest when visiting Worthing's young and beautiful ward, Cecilye. Things start to go awry when they end up together in the country and their deceptions are discovered.

I was Morgan Wallen's high school sweetheart, and losing him was the worst thing that I've ever dealt with. We wanted different things, and he knows he's locked in that small town in Tennessee, whereas I wanted to move to Australia and follow my dreams. What happened later on in my life forced our paths to connect once more. This time, neither one of us was going to let each other leave. n Our Time is a collection of short stories and vignettes about the years before, during, and after World War I. The stories, which are titled, are separated by vignettes, each of which is a chapter. The first story, "On the Quai at Smyrna," introduces the war through a description of an evacuation. Then, "Indian Camp," "The Doctor and the Doctor's Wife," "The End of Something," "The Three-Day Blow," "The Battler" and perhaps "A Very Short Story" all describe an encounter in the life of Nick Adams. Through these stories, Nick seems to be growing up. The vignettes are scenes from war, in which few characters are named. Chapter VI, after "The Battler," is about Nick in the war. After that, the vignettes turn away from stories of the war and the short stories take up a different subject.
