Rumble. Rumble. The girl beside me shrieks something, but it's drowned out by the quaking mountain. I don't need to hear what she said though. The word's echoing off the wall of my cranium. Rock slide. I yell something about running, but it's already to late. The stones come tumbling down on our heads. There's dust everywhere. The last thing I see is blood and dust settling on her silver hair. ... Black. "You failed me, Andrew. Do it again."

My whole life just changed in one day. I was kidnapped by a scientist gone rogue. Experimented on with nanotechnology that could change the world as we know it. Not everyone survived these experiments. My system rejected the nano treatment, and whenever this happened, the patient died. Somehow I survived. Now I have to find a way to save my friend and several others that were taken with me. Things change when a new organization with intentions of taking all the power arises. I find that I have to work together with someone I thought was the enemy to save everybody. I learn the hard way that you can't save them all. My name is Shaun McGee and this is my story.
