When Esther found out she was pregnant with Freya, (the deal between Dahlia and Esther does not exist in this story and Esther can have kids) her and Mikael were over the moon that they had another child so they sent Celestia away. Klaus nor his family knows that Celestia exists as Esther and Mikael never spoke of her again. Celestia (like Klaus) has a werewolf side as Esther cheated on Mikael to get pregnant with Celestia, but like Hope did in legacies, she became a vampire. She became the first Tribrid in 1376. Sh reunites with her family accidentally, she arrives in Mystic Falls just before the Mikaelson Ball, she was not invited to this ball, nor does she know that the Mikaelsons are the ones hosting the ball. All Celestia knows is that there is a party - and she loves crashing parties.
