A gothic fiction short story

Seven-year-old William doesn't draw sunshine or stick figures; he draws the Grim Reaper, claiming he will marry the lonely figure one day. His mother's fear is dismissed as childhood whimsy until a family friend arrives with their teenage son, Est. With his pale skin and haunting presence, Est is the living image of William's dark sketch. What starts as a dinner-table joke becomes a chilling "contract" when Est challenges the boy to grow up fast. But as the years pass, it becomes clear that William didn't just draw a person-he summoned a destiny that is as romantic as it is lethal. My friend @Moniloveland22 started to write a FF of this genre. I like it a lend this initial idea from her. Our story is cpmpletely different but still the credit for initial idea goes to her.
