Katniss comes back from the games and begins to rethink her feelings towards her best friend

After killing President Coin , meeting is held by the contemporaty government of Paneam on whether to continue the conviction of the adapted version of the hunger games in which Snows' grand daughter will be a tribute. This throws the girl on fire into a dilemma. So will there be a new beginning to the symbolic Hunger games or will there be peace? P.S.- Snow is not dead

Katniss becomes indecisive as to what she wants in life. She is back living in 12 with Peeta, life seemed to be going well, Katniss was pregnant with Peeta's child. Until Gale made a sudden appearance, all the memories (good and bad) came flooding back. Does the girl on fire from District 12 really know what she wants? The soft dandelion, or the rage of the fire? Read on to find out.

Rory Hawthorne was much the opposite; as he grew he just got into more trouble pranking teachers and flirting with pretty girls. In contrary to the Hunger Games trilogy, this version is told from Gale Hawthorne's point-of-view. In a fairly similar fanfiction of Suzanne Collins' work, ocean_calling captures the best of Galeniss while keeping the storyline on track.

What if Katniss chose Gale instead of Peeta? How will Panem react to this? What will Peeta say? Does she still have some feelings for Peeta? Katniss finds that loving Gale leads her into doing things that she wouldn't have even thought about doing in the past. As she said before, Gale is mine, I am his. Anything else is unthinkable . . .

Its the regular hunger games story but I tweeked it a little so the odds may be in Gales favour. ;)
