Expecting Stories

I can't look up from the school desk. My hands are shaking like crazy. I try to hold them tightly so that they'll just stay still, but it doesn't work. It's not even close to working. "Oh," Mrs McPherson says. Holy shit. I think I might throw up. Here, right now, in the classroom. I haven't thrown up in school since I was a kid, and caught the stomach bug. Or that time we were talking about worm infections at biology. "Umm... I'm honoured that you told me this. Thank you." You're welcome? "I... I don't really know what to say." "And I don't know what to do," I tell her. "Please. Please help me, Mrs McPherson."

to believe, or not to believe, we all meet ourselves believing in something otherworldly. we look in the mirror and glance at who we believe we are, our reflection slowly decaying upon our conscious thoughts. to believe in something new, whether it be the thought of recovery, or paranormal occurrences, it is all something we believe not to be possible. our minds are regularly plagued by deprecating thoughts on what we believe is reality, our yet to be thoughts hanging on like a ghost, only to show itself upon the meeting the chance to change what we believe in. take the maze into my mind, might you find something that had never crossed your own, or a cure to a poison that has finally began to set.

Parenting is the most rewarding, amazing experience of your life. It also SUCKS. There's so much stuff I never even imagined or comprehended going into this. I thought I'd read everything and researched everything before my own son arrived. I was beyond wrong. Hopefully my collection of tips and tricks, stories and tales, excitements and woes can help all those with babies on their horizon (near or far) get a glimpse into what life is really like as a mum (or dad, sorry my title is a tad sexist!). And for those already suffering the cursed blessing of parenthood, I hope you can share my triumphs and heartbreaks, and perhaps engage me with a few of your own.

You know all the crap they say about you'll find love in the place where you least expect it. Well they were damn true alright. I was pretty surprised when I did. I mean I didn't even planned to date anyone let alone fall in love with someone. It is ffucking amazing to fall in love but it is also fucking scary. To allow yourself to be vulnerable to someone, giving them all the power to break your heart with one snap of their fingers. I never thought I'll be saying this but I've fallen in love with a girl.
