This story takes place during season 2. I play around with what some events that took place in this season. The story starts with Rachel and Quinn already good friends. Quinn is not ashamed of being friends with Rachel, but she thinks she might like her. Rachel is so happy that she has finally become friends with Quinn and doesn't want to give her a reason to drop her. This is my first FanFic story, just an FYI. Best Ranking(s): #1 in faberry

Quinn Fabray has more hurt in her heart than any 18-year-old on the planet, and the only person that doesn't understand that is herself. She unknowingly sets out on a journey of self-reflection and reinvention after a rocky experience during her trip back to Lima. She just doesn't know if she'll be able to let go of her inhibitions long enough to stop suffocating. Post-Slap in S04x08, preceding events are mostly canon but will include head-canon things at some points. Heavy on Quinntana's friendship/eventual Faberry.

Quinn Fabray is in her sophomore year of high school. Due to her rather strict upbringing, she can be quite reserved – a trait which has led her to becoming invisible to all but the glee club her friends pressured her into joining. It is in this club that she is spotted by Rachel Berry, an ambitious loner prepared to do anything for fame. Rachel notices that Quinn's Pageant-like beauty could be the foundations of high school popularity, and therefore offers the blonde a proposition. With Quinn's looks and Rachel's ambition, the pair could achieve the ultimate high school careers and rule William McKinley as (fake) best friends. Rachel sees the plan as a golden ticket to popularity...without realising that Quinn sees it as a golden ticket to her.

"I-I have no one." The words barely came out of my mouth but felt as if they were a shout into the void. Rachel looked up at me, her eyes glowing like constellations. "Quinn. You will always have me, no matter what." - AU basically that follows most of the events following season 1 except Finn and Quinn don't join the glee club at the beginning of the school year. Remember how Quinn was also going through a shit load of stuff? Yeah that's still there. Also add all of the Faberry subtext that was there in season 1 but intensify it.

Quinn falls during glee rehearsal, like any other person as she's falling she grabs onto the nearest object to avoid hitting the cold, hard floor. Well that "object" ends up being someone's hand... Rachel Berry's hand, and she ends up tumbling down with the blonde. What happens when Quinn realizes that she felt something inside of her when she touched the singers hand, something she has never felt before. Not with Finn, Puck, Sam or any of those stupid boys. It was something else, something different...

"this time no one's gonna say goodbye, i keep you in this heart of mine."
