LJ has learned to never be hopeful. Hope is the most destructive emotion of all of them. LJ knew the only way to achieve what you want is to work for it...that didn't even guarantee success. Success didn't guarantee happiness. Everyday she worked hard to find her slice of happiness, she definitely didn't expect to find it in Division 1 Wide Receiver who's everything she's not. Callum lives his life one football season at a time. After all, he is the number one wide receiver at a top university. He loves his life - all the girls and recognition. This is why he works so hard. His freshman year in college. He led his team to a title. Everyone is expecting him to lead the team there again this year. Callum's whole life has been about football...until he meets LJ.

"You know something! Just-" He scoffed in impatience, curling in on himself slowly, "God, Pomni. I- I just-" Pomni rested her hand on his shoulder, easing him of his greater tension as his legs sat agape. The jester sighed, "I know you've lost some pretty important people here," the jester looked as Jax crossed his arms. "Look, I get that you're trying to forget about this, but that's probably the worst that you can do." Jax scowled at Pomni, "What do you know?" He paused, getting up and walking forwards slightly, "You know nothing about me. You know nothing about this place you just got here." "I know that, but-" Jax looked at the jester, his pupils small only to frighten Pomni. "You don't know Zooble, you don't know Ragatha and what she's done, you don't know Kaufmo, and you didn't-" he swallowed bitterly, pointing at Pomni and getting rather close only to back off, "you didn't know Ribbit." ---- we're so back GAAANG !!!!! this story is mostly about jax coping through ribbit and kaufmo's abstraction and then pomni is there to help !!! her helping kiiinda turns into them dating but that's besides the point... you guys are only here for the chill fellas lore.. obviously. this fanifc has motifs, so PLEEEASE enjoy my masterpiece, my life's work, and understand that this is not canon and i don't own these characters or show ! thank you thank you !!! this updates EVERY WEDNESDAYYYY !!!!!! i also tweak out about their progressing relationship after every chapter ^^ Warnings: Digitalized-gore Mentions of self-harm Mentions and implications of sex Self Sabotage Jax Cover art by me !

I wrote this book because I've spent years watching intelligent, capable professionals struggle with the same communication challenges over and over again. Not because they're not smart enough. Not because they don't care enough. But because nobody ever taught them the fundamental principles of how communication actually works in groups. They were thrown into teams and told to collaborate. Told to "communicate better." Told to "work together." But nobody explained what that actually means. Nobody gave them a framework for understanding why groups succeed or fail. Nobody taught them that communication isn't just about sending clear messages-it's about constructing social realities together. So they default to trial and error. They rely on instinct. They copy what they've seen other people do, even when those people were doing it wrong. And the cycle continues.

The flood came. The world was washed clean. Cities drowned, streets vanished, lives erased-but some bloodlines never die. Kyne's ancestors survived it all, lingering in the shadows, hungry, immortal. Now, Kyne rises. A high school student in Chicago by day, a supernatural force by instinct. With a suit tight as steel and smooth as silk, powers that let him heal, fly, and crush metal with his bare hands, lasers that cut through chaos, and a mind sharper than any weapon, he's more than human... he's Kyne. Bullies, gangs, street crime-none of it can stop him. And he's not alone. A team forms around him, ready to fight, survive, and reclaim a city that doesn't know what's coming. This is the first spark. The awakening of a force that will shake the streets, rewrite destiny, and leave a mark no one can erase. Kyne isn't just a survivor-he's the beginning of a legend. Adventure. Power. Bloodlines. Chaos.

Hiee Sunshines ✨ This space is only for suggestions and feedbacks. I've noticed that sometimes reader ideas get lost in between chapters, so I wanted a place where all your thoughts could stay together. I saw a fellow writer do this and really liked the idea, so I'm trying it too! This way, I can see your honest opinions about the story and use them to improve and shape the book. Thank you for sharing your thoughts, it means so much to me! 🌸
