A long time ago, Ariel helped build Hogwarts. Back then, it wasn't famous. The castle was unfinished, its halls filled with arguments and clashing ideas. Ariel worked alongside the founders and helped shape the school piece by piece. When Hogwarts was finally completed, her name vanished from its history. No one spoke of her anymore. She didn't fight it. Staying would have cost her more than she was willing to give, so she left. She never returned. Instead, she moved to Germany. Life there was quieter there, the magic less concerned with bloodlines and reputation. Ariel learned the language and kept a low profile. In time, she began teaching at a small magical school. She taught control, spell theory, and what to do when magic failed. Her students respected her. None of them ever questioned how little she seemed to change. Time passed. A great deal of it. Wars rose and fell without her. Immortality didn't make her powerful. It made her careful. She learned to survive by staying unnoticed. That changed when Voldemort returned. Dumbledore found her through an old story. A half-forgotten account of a fifth witch who had once walked the halls of Hogwarts and then vanished without a trace. Most dismissed it as legend. Dumbledore did not. He followed the trail across decades and borders until it led him to her. Ariel didn't want to help. Hogwarts had already taken enough from her, and Britain felt like someone else's responsibility. But Voldemort's methods felt disturbingly familiar. She had seen that kind of darkness before and knew how quickly it could spread. So she joined the Order of the Phoenix.

Evelyn Potter was the girl-who-lived, or so they thought. Harry was the true boy-who-lived, who beat Voldemort. The Life Project is an online community where you learn a lot about aspects of life that school cannot provide you in an everyday curriculum. Some of these things include; overcoming sadness, building self-esteem, forming good habits, and facing your demons. The founders of this online community are Sam and Colby. Originally viners, these two boys created the site with the hopes of helping other peers and adults learn tactics of life that can help them "beat the system" of society. - Go on to read the stories of the Life Project members and how they came to be. Salazar Slytherin is born to non-magical parents. This changes some things, and yet his legacy remains the same.

When he was still a boy, Salazar Slytherin created something akin to a horcrux. It was a ritual that stored part of his soul in his pet basilisk enabling it (his soul) to survive after his death. He would get reborn after the monster's death. It was a way to see how the future turned out for wizards and witches, to see if his descendants survived, of they continued his and his friend's legacy. What he found was a world in chaos, where wizards used his name and (supposed) ideals for dark deeds. For murder, discrimination and all the things he and the other founders had fought against.
