TW Abuse, Mentions of Depression, and Mentions of Suicide (nothing too crazy though)*** When Olivia starts a new job at a coffee place in a mall she expects it to be like any other job. She doesn't expect to fall for the beautiful retail worker from Forever 21, Charlotte. The only problem is that Charlotte isn't gay. At least she didn't think she was. "Can I kiss you?" I whispered to her. "Of course," she whispered back taking a step closer to me but she waited for me to make the first move. I placed my hands on the nape of her neck and pulled her down to me but I didn't immediately pull her in. I placed my forehead against hers and she closed her eyes waiting. I took a deep breath and took her in up close. She had small freckles on the bridge of her nose, I wouldn't have noticed them unless I was this close. I couldn't help but take a hand and brush the tips of my fingers against her lips. They parted slightly. At this point my heart was beating like crazy and we hadn't even kissed yet. Finally I cupped her cheek and pressed my lips against hers firmly. I held them there for a moment and then pulled back in amazement at the feelings that overcame my body. I couldn't understand how someone's lips could be so soft. Little butterflies attacked my stomach with just the chaste kiss.

When she looks at her self in the mirror, she feels equivocal. There are handful of times when she'd think she's pretty but when she stares hard, everything becomes bare and raw then she sees her truth, her miserable dementing truth, "I'm just a person who's into looking up the stars because she could never be one in the first place." She said. All of her beliefs about herself changed and faltered though. It was because of that unsuspecting ordinary day at school that turn all of her consuming worries into something beautiful. There he was, the light and the stars, all for her. But wait, someone around is lurking too and he is everything enigma, all darkest depths of the night is who he is and she can't help but want to unravel him. She's torn and so so so confused. - this story will contain mature language, themes, mention of depression and body dysphoria.
