love is a complicated emotion. for many, it is simply a fantasy one could only wish to feel toward themself. TO LIVE IS TO LOVE is a compilation of poetry, documenting my own journey of learning how to love myself. how i can learn to love all of my flaws, visible or not. this poetry book is ongoing, as my journey is. it is vulnerable and raw, and i hope that others can relate to and join me on this journey.

these are all the thoughts in my head- uncensored, unstructured, and exactly as they flow out. this is a technique called free writing. which is why I call this free speech this is basically my diary. (this is the way I think I guess) it's cathartic, which is why I do it. A glimpse into the minds of those who suffer from trauma, anxiety and seclusion. It is very important to me that awareness about mental health is spread, thus the reason for this short story. A battle against all the negative aspects of your mind is sometimes the most difficult battle to overcome, and not many people are aware of that. I hope this story sheds some light on what trauma, anxiety that can lead to depression can do to people, and at the end, how to move past the worst.
