Sometimes those spam emails aren't really spam. Sometimes they're pleading requests to help save lives. Julie, a journalist, learns that the world is far more complicated and violent than she could have ever imagined. After receiving a request for her help on a certain situation, Julie packs her bags and leaves for Palestine, a land she's never heard of, nor ever been to. Julie does not know what to expect, or if she'll even find a decent story there. But one thing leads to another and Julie finds herself a set of friends, an exploding story, and trouble. A space where we should open ours eyes to see the truth of the world

The Palestine-Israeli Conflict is not a conflict it is instead an Israeli Occupation of Palestine . It is not an equal fight in any way, the Palestinians have sticks and stones while the Israelis have mass technology and the backing of many overseas. It is an ethnic cleansing that is being ignored. This poem is simply to raise awareness about the situation and to create some discussion.
