My biggest failure in life right now is my continued expectation of a clear-cut black and white scientific explanation of my unusual thought processes to be handed to me on a silver platter by a well-spoken Englishman. This is to be immediately followed by delivery of a 'quick fix' pill or piece of advice that will counter all of my mental health shortcomings with absolutely no side effects whatsoever. Yes, I continue to expect such revelations even though I know deep down that such a thing simply does not and cannot exist. We can't learn and grow without those unpleasant experiences being there to teach us, but you can't blame a girl for dreaming, right?
Sad, happy, angry, frustrated, hopeful, hopeless, we all experiance these emotions in our everyday lives. This is a place to talk about these things and help each other get through them together♡
So, some of us have issues. Some of our issues slowly rise to the surface where there is no hiding or running away from them. So instead, you share your feelings of anger, sadness, and all the times you just wanted to die...
"'Overthinking ruins you" I've heard it more than "how are you?" from people.
But what do you do when those are the only thing that takes up your mind?!
This is where I will put the completely random, has nothing to do with anything stories that I create when I have writers block. I'll put out a stick (or two or three) and write based off what the stick says. Please don't judge me... :)
I had an assignment for my Theory and Practice of SW course and the topic was based on Bullying.
I have decided to write this poem for the assignment.
The poem shows how bullying can have a great negative impact on an individual's life and we don't know what they go through on a daily basis. So we must treat everyone with love, appreciation and kindness.
The puppy is about a girl named Kily who gets a puppy and is going through the troubles of having one and what will she do to go to the most popular party ever
Everyone holds a mask. Their deepest fears lie beneath them. How can one possibly hold it in? At some point the person reaches his/her breaking point. This is a set of poetry with different feeling a person undergoes when they hold their masks to protect themselves from the harsh world. When the mask smiles the world believes we are smiling.
