Then we meet Hunter--a teenage hybrid with some baggage from a terrible past that now roams the streets treated as nothing more than a fleabag. Somehow, despite not having a home or any money, he was the top of his class in middle school with an almost perfect grade, so of course ETA offered him a scholarship spot without needing to submit to the waitlist for interviews. Hunter almost instantly accepts, knowing that this was his one shot at going somewhere in life. When he arrives though, it's very different then from the pamphlets and posters that littered the alleys. The dorms were almost all humans that seemed to have it out for Hybrids, and the few Hybrids that he could find were all trying to be invisible and avoid the wrath of these humans.
